This tutorial will show you how I’ve set up my windows 7 video folders to be accessed on the network by my WDTV Live Media player. I’d had quite a few problems getting this working it turned out that the password I was using had special characters in it which the WDTV Live did not work with. The face of Facebook, the burgeoning social networking site, is supposedly in damage-control mode. Zuckerberg had two missions. One was to quell the controversy that erupted recently when Facebook appeared to claim perpetual ownership of members personal information and postings, even after they cancel their memberships; the other was to talk about the explosive growth in the service he started in 2004 while a sophomore at Harvard as a way to allow his classmates to connect with one another. The impression that Facebook was declaring ownership over all members postings, he said, was a case of a sloppy rewriting of the sites terms of membership. Frankly, we made a mistake in the last version and issued some unclear language, Zuckerberg told Matt Lauer in this clip from The Today Show on NBC. “Our intent is that people own their own information. One of the things that makes Facebook really special is its a service that people are using to put up information that they want to share with people that often is very personal, private, intimate.” If a member decides to leave Facebook and takes down his or her page, he added, None of that information will be shared with anyone going forward. In fact, on Thursday Zuckerberg had said that the controversy over the new language prompted Facebooks owners to decide to put future policy questions up to a vote of its members, making the online community instantly one of the worlds biggest democracies.
